After Google released software for the Nexus phones, HTC promised it would deliver the update within 15 days. Well, they didn’t quite kept the promise, yet still, they delivered the update in three weeks. The security update was announced by Mo Versi on Twitter:
HTC One A9 Unlocked Owners! The latest security updates (Nov) including improvements to the camera and battery will be OTA’d out tonight!

We argued in our full phone review for the HTC One A9 is the best HTC phone so far, yet that there are better phones on the market. However, this phone is in many senses a mighty phone, and now it is equipped with a new privacy update. After installing the security update, you won’t notice much of a difference – which is great thing! It means that the update is there, running in the background and doing a lot for your privacy.
