It is unbelievable how much the smartphone market has changed over the last few years. You are probably aware that you don’t have to spend an entire fortune anymore in order to get a decent phone. Imagine that – few years ago you had to get a flagship phone to call it decent.
Since many phone manufacturers have appeared in recent times, the competition became fierce and inherently the prices dropped. So today, we are all glad that we can get good phones at good prices. Such good phones which fall under the category of affordable phones are the two models we are reviewing today: the BLU Life One X and the Motorola Moto G. Let’s check out the specifications!
Let’s start with the obvious first – the design.
The Motorola Moto G is a 5” phone and it looks a lot like the previous generations. However, with the Moto Maker, you can entirely customize the looks of this phone in terms of colours.
On the other hand, while you may not get customization options for the BLU Life One X, what you will get is an awesome, modern and durable design. The phone really feels premium in your hands, regardless of the fact that is a cheaper phone. The BLU Life One X is a 5.2” telephone, so it is slightly larger than the Motorola Moto G.
In terms of the features, it seems like the BLU Life One X seems like the winner. First of all, it uses an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor compared to the quad-core Qualcomm Snaprdragon 410 that the Motorola Moto G uses. The BLU Life One X also tops the Moto Gin terms of pixel density, i.e. 424PPI for the Life One X and 294PPI for the Moto G.
In terms of the other specifications such as RAM and internal memory, the two phones are almost identical. However, BLU Life One X has a bigger battery – 2900mAh compared to Moto G’s 2470mAh battery.
Again, the camera is another feature that is the same for both phones, namely they both have a 13-megapixel back camera and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The BLU Life One X seems like the winner of this showdown, but you are still the one who should choose your winner. If you are all about customization, then the Moto G is the one for you. If you are more spec-oriented, go the other way around. What can additionally help you decide is the price: $149 for the BLU Life One X and $179 for the Moto G.
