The smartphone manufacturers of today then to produce phones for the general audience. We are used to seeing good phones, cheap and expensive, low-end and high-end, yet it seems they all aim at the same specifications. However, today we will check out a phone that focuses on something more particular – namely the sound. Introducing Marshall London!
The phone is built by Marshall, and it is nothing like the generate designs we are used to see. It is a 4.7″ phone with a unique design, and a rubber back that feels surprisingly good in the hand. It has an M button for quick access to music, and a scroll wheel to adjust the design quickly.
What I really found adorable was when I removed the back cover. What you will find written on the battery is “Long Live Rock’n’Roll”. It isn’t much, but it is a certainly nice thing to see, especially from a company that is focused on music.
The Marshall London is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 with 2 GB of RAM. This is obviously far behind what you would find in the most smartphones on the market. However, on the pleasure of all music enthusiasts, the phone has not one, but two (!) headphones jacks!
The battery is a removable 2500 mAh battery, which is nice. In terms of the camera, if you are a fan of taking photographs, than you don’t need the Marshall London. It has an 8-megapixel back camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. It is a decent camera for the average users, but not for those who would like something more.
If you are looking for a phone that focuses solely on music, that is what you are going to get with the Marshall London. The Marshall London costs $499.
Marshall London is a phone (only) for music enthusiasts. If you are one of those people, the I would say that this phone can be priceless for you. For all others, the Marshall London is probably not the best option on the market.
