Mobile payment seems to be a great big deal these days. The simplicity and functionality of this idea seems to appeal to many, simply because of the fact that they won’t need to carry their wallet around. Samsung, as one of the top phone manufacturers, never falls behind the trends, so their general manager Thomas Ko announced that Samsung pay will be available in 2016.
How Will it Work?
The explanation is simple – you will be able to pay with your mobile phone and your fingerprint. It is a good thing to have and to use, since our phones are our buddies now and they have become a replacement of many things, so why not let them become replacement for our cash?
Samsung Pay will be available in USA, at least for starters as it turns out. What we believe we will see is a great excitement (starting now!), but also acceptance of this payment method by major sellers such as Amazon, PayPal and BestBuy.
Another unfortunate thing is that the Samsung Pay will be available only with the S models released recently, namely the Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Active and Galaxy Note 5.
So it seems like Samsung is headed for a great year! We are coming to a close of 2015, and by 2016 being just around the corner, we will see the Samsung Pay coming to life! What do you think? Will
