The excitement was great with the new Android Marshmallow OS. We all are exited to get the new OS on our phones, and releasing the new phones with Marshmallow seems like the logical thing to do. However, it seems like Samsung didn’t think so.

The Samsung Galaxy A Series

Samsung’s fabulous S series includes the flagships of the company, and one of the greatest phones you can find on the market. However, these phones do not fall under the category of “affordables”. For those who want to get themselves a classy and premium-looking phone, yet keep in mind the price, Samsung released the A series.

Why Not Android Marshmallow?

Unfortunately, we cannot provide an answer to this question. We all expected to see the new Android Marshmallow on these phones, but it seems like Samsung has other plans in mind. Rather, the phones from the Samsung Galaxy A series, namely the Samsung Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 will be released with the Android Lollipop 5.1. Samsung hasn’t released any official statements about when should we expect to see an update of the operating system. We will have to wait and see, but we really hope that it would be soon enough.
