Galaxy S7 Rumors
Even though they have recently released their highest caste of smartphones, Samsung is preparing the successor of the Galaxy series, the Galaxy S7. Apparently, there is confusing information circulating in the cyberspace world, since the specifications it carries are still just rumors.
It is rumored that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be equipped with three different types of processors. All three of which will come from different manufacturers. The three processors would be the Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC Exynos aka M1, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, and a Samsung Exynos 7420.
The purpose of these three processors of the Galaxy S7 is for it to be differently marketed in each region. It is supposed that the Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC will be placed on the market of Europe, Japan, and the native country of Samsung’s company, South Korea. As for the remaining variants, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC is reportedly intended for the region of China and the United States, and the latter, the SoC Exynos 7420 will be placed on the market of India.
It remains unknown why Samsung would plant 3 different types of processors in their flagship smartphone. Possibly, it is for reduction of the Samsung Galaxy S7 selling price. If that is the case, the world market will likely get the variant that uses that latest SoC Samsung Exynos 8890 or the Snapdragon 820, from Qualcomm. It is estimated that this flagship smrtphone will be available in 2016, but the exact date is still unknown since Samsung recently introduces the highest variant of its flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
