After the big event this weekend in Barcelona – the MWC, we finally checked out how the new Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will be like. At this event, many of the rumours were confirmed, while others turned out not to be true.
At the time of the event, another rumour spread that the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be available in the US ONLY in their 32GB variant. The rumour was confirmed as true.
The US market is one of the biggest for Samsung, and practise has shown that the 32GB model always bring a better profit margin. This is the reason why they decided only to release the 32GB model in the US. But in fact, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge come with extendible storage, meaning that those who need some extra space can extend it with a simple SD card. This was a problem that Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge users faced, but with the features in the new models, we don’t believe that anyone would mind not being able to buy the 64GB model when there is an SD slot at their disposal.
What do you think about this decision made by Samsung? Do you think it is a smart move not to release the 64GB model in the US?
