Good news for all Android users. Over the next few days, Android Marshmallow update will be able on your devices, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.
The interesting point isn’t the Android 6.0.1 update, but how quickly the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have received the security update. Google gives OEM’s access to the monthly security updates around 30 days before it is announced, at the beginning of the month, and it seems Samsung took the opportunity to just bundle the security patch into the Android Marshmallow rollout.
If you won`t see a notification, then head into “Settings”, then “About Device”, followed by “Software Update”; go ahead and click that “Update Now” button and see if you’re prompted to download an update. Alternatively, a push notification will automatically prompt you as and when your device is eligible.
